The compact design allows for use on horizontal and vertical machining centres, as well as 5 Axis machining centres. Its unique patented mechanical booster fully seals the vice high from dust, swarf and coolant, making it a highly durable device. The SKS3 steel that forms the body of the vice has been flame hardened to HS63° while the jaws have been fully treated to HRC54°.
